B2B Appointment Setter

United Kingdom · Remote · Contract

£13 to £15 an hour

Outbound calling for a UK digital marketing agency. Three fixed mornings a week, on an initial four week contract.

Role overview

You will be responsible for making outbound calls to UK businesses, speaking with decision-makers, introducing Adola at a high level, asking basic qualification questions, and booking suitable follow-up calls.

This is a part-time appointment-setting role. You will not be expected to close deals or handle complex sales conversations.

You will be given a call opener, conversation framework, briefing notes, company information, and prospect context to help guide the calls. This will not be a rigid word-for-word script. The role requires someone who can hold a natural business conversation while still following the agreed process.

Responsibilities

You will be expected to:

  • Make outbound B2B calls to a provided prospect list
  • Speak with business owners, directors, managers, or other decision-makers
  • Use a provided call opener, conversation framework, and briefing notes
  • Introduce Adola's services clearly and professionally
  • Ask basic qualification questions
  • Adapt naturally during conversations without going off-process
  • Book suitable follow-up calls
  • Log call outcomes accurately
  • Keep call notes clear and organised
  • Report useful objections, feedback, or recurring themes
  • Communicate reliably throughout the week

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Confident making outbound calls
  • Clear, natural, and professional on the phone
  • Comfortable speaking with UK businesses
  • Able to hold a real conversation rather than simply read from a script
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Organised with notes and follow-up
  • Able to follow a process while adapting to the conversation
  • Comfortable working remotely
  • Available for the agreed weekly calling shifts

Experience

Previous experience in any of the following would be useful:

  • B2B appointment setting
  • Cold calling
  • Telemarketing
  • Lead generation
  • Outbound sales
  • Telesales
  • Business development
  • Digital marketing or agency sales
  • CRM use

You do not need to be an expert in digital marketing, but you should be comfortable learning the basics of what Adola offers and explaining them clearly at a top level.

Working hours

This role is for 10 hours per week across three fixed morning shifts:

  • Tuesday: 9:00am to 12:20pm
  • Wednesday: 9:00am to 12:20pm
  • Thursday: 9:00am to 12:20pm

All times are UK time. Please only apply if you can reliably work these hours during the initial 4-week contract.

  • Hourly rate: £13 to £15 per hour depending on experience
  • Bonus: £35 to £50 for each qualified meeting that takes place
  • Contract length: initial 4-week contract
  • Total hours: 40 hours over 4 weeks
